I was the oldest of the 5 cousins. Margo tagged along for neighborhood escapades. We sent a lot of time at grandma’s house. Grandma was Maggie, but had the nickname of Margo. The namesake was passed on.

This lady right here grew to be my best friend. I met her in 1992 when I started dating her son, Jamie, who is now my husband. I’ve respected her from the moment I met her and I came to love her like a mom. She taught me so many things, shared recipes, stories from her growing up, and raising her family. She was alway there when I needed advice for anything, even if it was a problem I might be having with Jamie and especially when it came to parenting. We shared tears and laughter and I really enjoyed the time I had with her. I am blessed to have known her and I am going to miss her dearly.
