Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 1:00 PM Monday, January 13, 2020 at Filadelfia Assembly of God Church, 260 SE 1000, in Andrews. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 – 9 PM on Saturday and 1 – 8 PM on Sunday at Filadelfia Assembly of God Church. Aurora was born on August 25, 1937 in Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Jose Angel Macias and Manuela Campos Macias. She married Juan Perez Infante on May 13, 1951 in Monterey, Mexico. She had worked in factories in Mexico in her younger years and worked as a cotton field picker while she was married. They moved to Andrews in 1970 from Brownfield. She loved to go camping, gardening, traveling, worship, but most of all cooking for her large family gatherings. She loved to cook chili con carne, tamales, empanadas, tortillas, and bunuelos. She was cheerful, laughing, and a devoted wife and mother to her children. She was a faithful member of Filadelfia Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on November 7, 1986, her parents, 4 sisters, daughter, Yolanda Infante, son, Juan Infante, grandchildren, Auden, Ortiz, Jr. and Apolinar Guerra, and great grandchild, Mariah C. Zamora.
Aurora is survived by her children, Joel Infante and wife, Rosemary, Hermelinda Perez and husband, Maximino, Maria Elena Guerra, and husband, Apolinar, Gloria Hernandez and husband, Ismael, Juan Infante and wife, Michelle, Sylvia Carrasco and husband, Rene, Pedro Infante and wife, Vero, Elda Infante, twins, Belen and Marisa Infante, and Abriel Infante, all of them from Andrews, brothers, Juvenal Macias and Angel Macias of Monterey, Mexico and Alberto Macias of McAllen, 43 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
