Obituary

Antonia Aranda Acosta, 91 of Andrews, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019 in Crane, Texas.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 2:00 pm Monday, February 11, 2019 at the McNett Funeral Home Chapel, in Andrews, Texas with Pastor Isai Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. Please celebrate her life by visiting www.mcnettfuneralhome.com.

Antonia was born in El Mulato, Chihuahua, Mexico to Mauricio and Flora Franco Aranda. She grew up in Mexico and came to Andrews in 1954. Antonia was very loving woman, she enjoyed taking care of and cooking for her family. She loved being with her grandchildren. She like to crochet and sew, she made dresses for her granddaughters for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, David Aranda, Anastacio Aranda, Eloisa Juarez, Levnor Porras, Victoria Alvarado and Consuelo Gomez.

Antonia is survived by a daughter, Mary Acosta of Upland, California, two sons, Edmund Acosta, Jr. and wife Karen of League City, Texas, Ector Edward Acosta of Andrews, Texas, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
