Guy Otis Gryder,64, of Mauriceville, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 in Mauriceville.

Friends and family will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Les Hall officiating. Cremation after services will be under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 6-8 PM at McNett Funeral Home in Andrews. Guy was born in Corona, California on September 28, 1954 to Otis and Jean Bruce Gryder. He attended and graduated from Andrews High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1972 until 1978. Guy was an electrician for a major oil company, he retired two years ago and was enjoying his retirement. He married L’Jon Adkins on June 27, 2001 in the Catalina Islands. Guy enjoyed going fishing and being with his family. His passion was riding his Harley-Davidson with L'Jon. Guy was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Deborah Jacobson.

He is survived by his wife, L’Jon Gryder of Mauriceville, Texas, four sons, Chris Gryder and wife Kym of Andrews, Texas, Mathew Gryder of Midland, Texas, Adam Gryder and wife Lisa of Odessa, Texas, Nick Gryder and wife Lori of Snyder, Texas, one sister, Pamela Farmer of Midland, Texas and thirteen grandchildren.
