Obituary for Tommy R. Wilson
Tommy Ray Wilson, 69, of Andrews passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 in Big Spring, Texas.

Tommy was born on October 22, 1948 in Stanton, Texas to Lloyd Everett Wilson and Gladys Clark Wilson. He attended commercial art school before entering the Marines. He was awarded National Defense service metal, Vietnamese service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, and the Purple Heart Medal. Tommy married Vickie Lynn McCullough on September 18, 1988 in Andrews. Tommy was a retired truckdriver. He loved to play games and played Yahtzee often, he also loved sports, football and the Cowboys was his favorite. Family and friends said he never met a stranger, he loved to talk and visit. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Lynn Wilson of Andrews; one son, Gerry Wilson of Yellville, Arkansas; two daughters Sharlene Wilson Whitley of Yellville, Arkansas, Kimberly Wilson of Andrews; one brother, Belvin and wife Sherry Wilson of Odessa, Texas; three grandchildren, Star Skorich, Cheyenne Wilson and Joylee Ledesma and one great grandchild, Ember Rain Ledesma.
