Jack Stanfill, 70, of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 in Andrews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at a memorial service at 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the family’s home, 7 Louis Circle, in Andrews, Texas. Jack was born January 18, 1947, in Stroud, Oklahoma to Jack Calvin Stanfill and Jessie Marie Hodge Stanfill. He was raised in Stroud, but attended school and graduated from Edmond High School. Following high school, Jack served in the U.S. Navy and was stationed at the Air Naval Station, North Island, in San Diego, California. Following his discharge from the Navy, he continued to work for the Department of Defense as a Methods & Standards Engineer in San Diego for 30 years. He was to married Teresa McVeigh Monaco Stanfill. After his retirement, he moved from California to Houston in 2008 and to Andrews in 2015 to be closer to family. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one step-son, William Stanfill, in 2010.
Jack is survived by his wife, Teresa Stanfill of Andrews, 1 son, Tony Stanfill of Andrews, 1 daughter Michelle Tobin of Andrews, 1 step-daughter Theressa and Monte of Dillingham, Alaska; 1 sister; LaDonna Hicks-Dean of Irving, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
